Hector Juarez
A little piece of my life
Hello, I am Hector Juarez I am 43 years old; and I am currently studying International Business Management in Canada. I was born in Mexico City. However, when I was 12 years old, I moved to Cancun. And I have been spending more time living there than in any other place.
I have an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) degree from the Mexican Red Cross. So, I have spent a big part of my life working as a Paramedic.
During the last ten years, I have created several businesses, some of them are still running, and I had to close some of them. I discovered that I love creating and running businesses and I had learned more from my own failures than from successes. So, I believe that success is the result of a lot of failures. I like maintaining a good attitude and I believe that we are responsible for all that happens in our lives.
I am a person who has a good sense of humour, I enjoy laughing and making jokes. I have a great passion for the sport, now I have five years of practicing triathlon.
Spending time with my family, travelling, eating good food, and drinking coffee are my favourite hobbies as well.
I can say that I have too many goals; the closest will be to speak English fluently, to get good school grades, a challenging and well-paid work, and learn winter sports like snowboarding. Also, I think it is important to have a positive impact on my community. That is why, I have started to volunteer in the Canadian Red Cross. I have experience with the Mexican Red Cross. I like helping people in vulnerable situations. I guess it is because I like taking risks and challenges, and I have the ability to work under stress. Life is full of difficult situations and we have to learn how to manage them and keep a strong and positive mind.
